I am so lucky that my boys have such a wonderful dad!  It hasn’t always been the case for my oldest son, so I can really appreciate what it means for a child to have a Daddy, not just a father.

I just want to say THANK YOU to Dustin for being not only a loving partner to me, but the boys’ friend, protector, supporter, disciplinarian, and biggest fan!  Our lives are much richer beause of you.  And Harper actually has a life because of you.

I love, love, love Save-the-Dates and here is yet another idea I think is brilliant.  I am constantly blown away by all the creative ideas.  If and when it comes time to choose STDs for myself, I don’t know how I will make a decision!  Today’s innovative design comes from Offbeat Bride Tribe member Grafxcowgirl.  I would love to receive this in the mail.  How great would it be to have the sticky note to slap on the fridge, computer monitor, or calendar as a reminder?!

If you told me you saw a wedding with a bride in jeans, I would have immediately pictured a backyard redneck hoe-down.  That would be me being ignorant.   Of course in this age of anything-goes weddings a bride can wear jeans and be chic, stylish, and classy!  I don’t know what I was thinking.  Now I totally want to get married in jeans.  This gal looks HOT!

• I’ve always recognized the value of a professional day-of coordinator, but I realize a lot of brides do not.  While it may seem like something that doesn’t fit into the budget, I feel like it’s something you can’t afford to skip. There are so many things you should be doing on your wedding day other than worrying that vendors are doing their jobs and setting up and breaking down the decor!  In this post, Wish Special Events uses one real wedding as an example of all the things they do on the day of your wedding!
